One updated mainshaft 5th gear nut for Dodge Cummins diesel NV4500 5spd transmissions used in 1992-up. The kit contains an updated nut, spacer washer, and two keeper pins and screws to hold everything together. This is a stock # NPG 5013887AA updated nut kit for a New Venture 4500 transmission used in 1992-up Dodge trucks with cummins dieselengine. You can tell you have this transmission because it is made of cast iron with casting # of C followed by 5 digits, and has a detachable bellhousing. One of the most common issues with this transmission was the nut coming loose and allowing the 5th gear to back off the mainshaft and destroy the gear.
