The TransGo Performance Shift Kits provide the Durability, Firmness and Control of a Reprogramming Kit with the convenience of no transmission removal required, no special tools required and comprehensive and easy to follow instructions and installation videos produced for the home mechanic. This particular kit is for use on a Chevy/GM aluminum powerglide transmission (Used in several GM cars with V6 and V8 from 1962-73, also very popular transplants for hot rod and strip use). It is designed to update your automatic transmission with the following features: Full Manual control or Automatic shifts;
Full-race, Street/Strip. Greater performance and durability. Corrects inherent design problems in trans. This kit is easy to install and comes with great instructions, but there is no video available for it. The kit does not require removal of the transmission.
