The TransGo SK series Shift Kits provide the valve body enhancements and cures for inherent design problems to make transmissions last (or just to beef up your transmission for better longevity). This particular kit is for use on a Ford A4LD overdrive transmission 1985-1994 (Ranger, Explorer, 4 cylinder Mustang, Bronco II, etc... Please email for specific applications). It is designed to update your automatic transmission with the following features: Corrects/Prevents/Reduces: Direct clutch failure; soft 1-2, lockup too soft; cutloose 2-3; delay or bang reverse late shifts; no 4th; 1-3 upshift at light-throttle; delayed lockup release; engine chugs.. This kit comes with very detailed installation instructions, and is easy to install without removing the transmission from the vehicle.
