Each unit is individually checked and tested several times along the assembly process. Tolerances are checked to very high specs . Torque converters are machined and balanced to higher standards than is normal in the industry. Pads are even machined to insure a perfect fit. Even the new parts are checked to high quality standards. This is a UTR14 utility automatic transmission torque converter used in Jeep and International truck with the Chrysler Torqueflite A727 transmission from late 1972-up (please inquire for specific applications). This is the non-lockup converter for use with non-lockup transmissions (easy way to tell it is non-lockup is the input shaft is splined all the way to the front). It is always a good idea to replace your torque converter any time you do work on your transmission (since you can't inspect or repair a torque converter). This utility converter will add life to your transmission. This torque converter has been completely remanufactured by an technician. It has been programmed for low stall heavy-duty use and can be installed in place of your stock unit with no modifications whatsoever.
