One Transgo performance shift kits for an E4OD or 4R100 4 speed electronic automatic transmission. The TransGo Heavy duty stage 2 Shift Kits provide the Durability, Firmness and Control of a Reprogramming Kit with the convenience of no transmission removal required, no special tools required and comprehensive and easy to follow instructions and installation videos. This particular kit is for use on a Ford E4OD and 4R100 from 1989-up (Used in truck/van with V8, V10, and diesel engines including F-series, E-series, Full size Bronco, etc... Please email for specific applications). The later models are called 4R100 and use this same kit. The way you know this is what you need is that the bottom pan on the trans has 20 bolts. It is designed to update your automatic transmission with the following features: Holds 1st, 2nd, 3rd at any RPM. Backshifts at your command, shorter firmer shifts. Greater performance and durability. This kit is easy to install, you can even go to http://www.txchange.com/tgpvid.htm to watch an installation instruction video. There is also an extreme duty "tugger" kit for these transmissions available in our store. However, the tugger kit does require removal of the transmission, while this HD kit does not.
