One of our custom TEC brand Standard transmission overhaul kits with synchronizer rings. The kit contains all the correct synchro rings, gaskets, bearings and seals for your transmission. You are sure to get the right parts every time. Plus, you get a breakdown sheet of the transmission. This is a stock # SMK K290D-S kit for a GMC/Chevy 4x4 or RWD 5spd truck - S10, Blazer, full-size 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L - with a Getrag (HM290 or MG5) transmission from 1995-99 (aka 5LM60, New Venture 3500 or NV3500). It is also used in 1994-up Dodge trucks - Dakota, Durango full-size 3.9L, 4.7L, 5.2L, 5.9L as well as 2000-up Jeep NV3550. You can tell you have this transmission because it is made of aluminum and has an integral bellhousing. This kit is for the version with multi-piece 1st and 2nd synchro rings (we also have a kit in our store for the 91-up with one-piece 1-2 rings). The kit comes with all of the main bearings, seals, gaskets (along with silicone gasket maker), synchro rings, and necessary small parts for this rebuild. The picture shows the kit without the rings, but ordering this item will get you the kit and rings. This kit is also available without synchro rings, so check our store or inquire if you don't need them.
