A Transgo SK series shift kit for a Ford AX4N and 4F50N electronic automatic overdrive FWD transaxle. The TransGo SK series Shift Kits provide the valve body enhancements and cures for inherent design problems to make transmissions last (or just to beef up your transmission for better longevity). This particular kit is for use on a Ford AX4N (aka 4F50N) overdrive transmission 1994-up (Taurus, Windstar, sable, lincoln, etc... Please email for specific applications). You can tell you have an AX4N/4F50N because the bottom pan has 19 bolts and both pans should say either AX4N or 4F50N on them. The kit is designed to update your automatic transmission with the following features: Corrects/Reduces/Prevents: Includes Boost Valve & EPC Relief. Soft/Slide 1-2—Planetary burnup. High Line; Rough shifts & seal failure. Neutral at stop, falls out of 4th. Forward control valve included. This kit comes with very detailed installation instructions, and can be installed without removing the transmission from the vehicle.
