One of our custom TEC brand Standard transmission overhaul kits. The kit contains all the correct gaskets, bearings and seals for your transmission. You are sure to get the right parts every time. Plus, you get a breakdown sheet of the transmission. This is a stock # SMK K290C kit for a GMC/Chevy 4x4 or RWD 5spd truck - S10, Blazer, full-size 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L - with a Getrag (HM290 or MG5) transmission from 1991 on (aka 5LM60, New Venture 3500 or NV3500). It is also used in 1994-up Dodge trucks - Dakota, Durango full-size 3.9L, 4.7L, 5.2L, 5.9L as well as 2000-up Jeep NV3550. You can tell you have this transmission because it is made of aluminum and has an integral bellhousing. The kit comes with all of the main bearings, seals, gaskets (along with silicone gasket maker), and necessary small parts for this rebuild. This kit is also available with synchro rings, so check our store or inquire if you need them.
